Braidra is a directory connecting clients with braiders and crochet stylists. Our website is braidra.com. Questions? Email us at hello@braidra.com.

What information we collect

For stylists applying to the directory: name or business name, city, state, zip code, contact email, phone number, Instagram handle, website, bio, portfolio photos, service style, years of experience, and price range.

For site visitors: we collect your IP address solely for spam prevention (rate limiting form submissions). We do not use it for tracking or advertising.

How we use your information

To create and display your stylist listing in the Braidra directory
To contact you about your application and listing status
To process your monthly subscription payment
To send transactional emails (application confirmation, listing activation)

We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising.

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party services to operate Braidra:

Database and file storage — stylist data and portfolio photos are stored on secure cloud servers.
Payment processing — all payments are handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never store your card details.
Email delivery — transactional emails are sent through a third-party email service.
Website hosting — the site is hosted on a secure cloud platform.

Public directory listings

Information submitted in your stylist application — including your name, city, bio, photos, contact details, and Instagram handle — will be displayed publicly in the Braidra directory once your listing is active. Only submit information you are comfortable sharing publicly.

Data retention

We retain your listing information for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel or your subscription lapses, your listing will be deactivated. To request permanent deletion of your data, email hello@braidra.com.

Your rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing hello@braidra.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active stylists of any material changes by email. Continued use of the directory after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
